It just shows great affection.  I have "just friends" that I call soul mates bec we just think so much alike, have the same reactions and attitudes about things or we always have these moments where we were thinking the same things at the same time even though we were separated by space.. stuff like that.  I'm really lucky to have these people in my life. .

It depends on the person.  Some people who are swept up in the moment throw out terms like that right away.  For me, typically, people have to earn it.  It takes time to get to know somebody and see if they're there when it really counts.  Loyalty is very big for me. .

I say "typically" bec I have called someone endearing terms right away bec we had a connection neither of us ever felt before in our lives.  It was awesome!  : )  So my opinion is sometimes, you know right away.. sometimes it takes time.  Sometimes you made a mistake, sometimes it's real.  It just depends. .
