I like the MSF tomato basil burgers. Tastes like pizza!..
Which ever one's on sale.
I like the regular ones but if I'm in the mood for something spicy (a mix-in with scrambled eggs) I get some of the breakfast patties or links...
Garlic. Medifast vegan option has to have 6 carbs or less per patty...
All-American has to much fat for MF, should eat the originals with only 5g of fat per patty as opposed to the 45 per patty for the AAs. It is not really LEAN if you are eating 90 grams of fat in two patties. Stick to the leaner choice, and add onion power, garlic, cayene, soy sauce, ketchup?..
The Medifast Quick Start guide has 2 Boca All American burgers listed as a "lean" choice. Where are you getting the 45 g of fat per patty? I'm looking at the nutrition info right now and it's 5 GRAMS of fat per serving, or 45 CALORIES from fat. Perhaps you read it incorrectly?..
Where do you find this information, i.e., how many fat grams are allowed. I feel like I am missing some very valuable information. Just bought Jennie-O Spicy Italian Turkey sausage that is "to-die-for" but they have 10 g of fat per serving or sausage. I know this is way too much fat but ate it anyway because they taste so darn good. They are gone now and I will never buy them again (actually DH bought them for me) but they were wonderful. Is there a book or pamphlet somewhere that tells how many fat grams are allowed?..
Hi, this is what Nutrition Support Team say: I hope it helps...
Read the All American Boca box, it has 45g per patty. The Original Boca has oly 5 grams!!! You have to READ lables when dieting!!!..
You are also not supposed to eat nuts on the 5/1 plan. Discipline=success!!!..
I like the All American Flame Grilled.
5g fat, 6g carb..
This is the Boca website with burger nutrition, 45g fat per serving!!!..
It says right there in that link you posted that they have 5 grams of fat per serving.
Fat contributes 9 calories per gram, 5 grams x 9 calories = 45 CALORIES from fat. There is a huge difference..
If this item had 45 grams of fat per serving, each serving would be well over 400 calories because 45 grams of fat = 405 calories. As you can see in your link, one serving of this product yields only 120 calories..
I agree it is important to read the labels on everything. It is equally important to understand what those labels mean...
I'm not a veggie, but I don't particularly love meat either, so I have meatless days about half the time. My favorites are the All American Grillers and MSF Tomato Basil. Yumm-o!..
OOPs, I was used to Atkins where fat didn't mater. So you can also eat the cheesebuger also...
Wow, thanks so much for this, Vikki! You are wonderful... This is exactly what I was looking for...(ur my hero!)...
No, & you can have 3 of them instead of the usual 2...
