Holy smokes!.
NINE kids!.
What kind of energy are you looking for? You already have more than most of us! LOL!.
(Actually, it'll come by the end of week 2 at the latest I'd say!)..
For me it was the end of week 1..
But with 9 kids you might be using it up already! lol..
I am wanting some of it too I have felt so lethargic the whole time I have been doing this. I sleep all the time!.
Hopefully it will get better Some people say that adding B Vitamins helps I may try that..
Heidi..
I NEVER got that burst of energy that other's have posted about. Perhaps my lifestyle is just too physically active for such low calories and carbs...I don't know. Sometimes taking it easy is not an option as suggested by the Medifast guide w/their recommendation to cut back on heavy physical activity.
I did take a 4 month break from Medifast and went on a healthy low cal/lower carb diet and I immediately felt better. However, my weight loss slowed down to a crawl. So I started back on Medifast around Memorial Day to speed up my weight loss. I'm dragging most days but I'm going to try to just tough it out. I do try to have my calories in the 900-950 range and my carbs in the 85-90g range and I think that helps a little bit. Sorry I don't have any better suggestions...
Don't know if this will work for everyone, but I drink at least one serving of the new Crystal Light Wild Strawberry (on the go packets). It is enhanced with B vitamins and really picks me up when I most need it. It also tastes pretty good too!..
I started this past Thursday, at first I was pretty lethargic. I walk a few miles everyday, and yesterday and today I just found myself SO FULL OF ENERGY!!!! I speed-walked the entire time and passed a bunch of people who used to pass me. When I got home I just started raving "I HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY SINCE I STARTED MEDIFAST, WOOO I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!" I don't know if I have lost any weight since I haven't weighed myself since I started, but one thing I do know: that energy they talk about totally kicked in by day 5!!!..
My energy kicked in at about 2 weeks, until then I was quite tired. When I got my energy, I couldn't sit still, needed to be doing something all the time. I also slept great (probably from doing so much work). Keep up the good work! Becki..
It hit me about the end of the first week. But what I have found is that I get tired in the evenings now. I am fine during the day but I go to bed earlier than normal. Which is fine with me!..
I'm not sure when the energy hit me, but it is hard to keep me still. I now work 2 jobs, about 70 hours a week and when I'm home, I keep moving. I haven't felt this great in years and years!!!..
My energy seems to come and go - - the first week was the lowest -tired and non motivated most of the week. Now I have good days and not so energetic days - - Go figure - - I'm still waiting for the big burst of energy others have written about. Good Luck!..
I have never had the energy kick either. I'm sure a huge part of it is due to issues with my thryoid and my Fibro. Just feel like I did before I started. Keep waiting for that burst of energy that never comes. Oh well, I'm used to it...
Hi all: I restarted the program yesterday (after a year hiatus from a brief stint on the program. I actually felt fine yesterday and today. Tomorrow may be a different story. Last year I actually FELT lighter. It was an odd but wonderful feeling. Hope I experience it again this time/\..
Mary..
