In my "spare" time I run a non profit organization dedicated to the memory of our beloved Beethoven who was a black barn cat. We currently have "only" 2 black cats - Mehdi and Jack. Whole Foods carries smaller containers, as does Trader Joes, I believe. But you know, that stuff lasts forever. I kept using a big jug for like two years. Never got funny on me...

My walmart carries Instabake. It's near the Shake n Bake and other breadings, not with the pancake mix. They also carry a variety of whey protein powder, although I've never looked very closely at the selection (health and beauty section near the Ensure, Slimfast, protein bars and vitamins)...

Thanks all for your responses - I tried my trader joe's and whole foods and neither sells the any whey. I think someone mentioned target - i'm going to check there over the weekend, but it looks like I might end up at netrition or gnc. the gnc container is about a third the size of the netrition, but the cost is almost the same, so i'm sure it'll be netrition. it's just that there are some things I don't mind waiting to come in the mail - food isn't really one of them (except ns, and i'm not crazy about that!).....so I guess we'll see what I end up doing - I have a few days off soon and I wanted to cook up a storm! have a good one - DC.
